Product availability is not guaranteed at the time of order. If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you promptly. We strive to ensure accuracy of all content, including prices, descriptions, and images; however, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, cancel orders, or update content at any time prior to dispatch. We are not liable for technical issues, interruptions, or inability to access the Site.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All materials on this Site — including designs, graphics, logos, text, images, videos, and trademarks — are owned by Ioana Ciolacu and protected by intellectual property laws. Content may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

TRADEMARKS
The Ioana Ciolacu name, logo, and associated marks are protected trademarks. Use without authorization is prohibited.

OVERVIEW
Products sold on ioanaciolacu.com are offered by ROMANIANFASHIONCOUNCIL SRL, registered in Romania. Sales are intended solely for end consumers. We reserve the right to refuse orders that do not comply with these Terms.

CONTRACT FORMATION
After placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt. This does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we send dispatch confirmation.

ORDER PROCESS
Before completing a purchase, you will be shown a summary including product details, total price, delivery costs, payment method, and withdrawal rights. By submitting the order, you agree to pay the stated price.

ORDER REFUSAL
We may refuse orders if payment authorization fails, items are unavailable, or fraud is suspected.

All products sold are authentic Ioana Ciolacu items produced in-house or by authorized partners. We do not sell defective or second-hand goods. Product images are illustrative and may differ slightly from actual items.

Prices may change without notice until order confirmation. All products include identification tags that must remain attached for returns.

Payments are processed through Shopify’s secure payment infrastructure and certified payment providers. We do not store or access card details. Payment is charged only when the order is accepted and processed for shipment. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel transactions suspected of fraud.

Shipping methods, delivery times, and costs are displayed at checkout and form part of the purchase contract. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or external factors are not our liability.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
You may withdraw from your purchase within fourteen (14) days from the date of delivery without providing any reason, in accordance with applicable European Union consumer protection legislation.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS
To qualify for a return, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:

1. Notification — You must notify the Vendor of your decision to withdraw within fourteen (14) days of delivery by email at customercare@ioanaciolacu.com or via another clear written statement.
2. Condition of items — Products must not be worn, washed, altered, or damaged and must only have been handled to the extent necessary to determine their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
3. Identification tag / seal — Where applicable, identification tags and/or seals must remain attached, intact, and unremoved.
4. Original packaging — Items must be returned in their original packaging together with all accessories, labels, documentation, and accompanying materials.
5. Return timeframe — Products must be shipped back within fourteen (14) days from the date you notified us of withdrawal.
6. Resalable condition — Products must be returned in a condition suitable for resale.

Failure to meet any of these requirements may result in refusal of the return or a reduced refund where permitted by law.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items cannot be returned unless defective:

• personalised or custom-made products
• gift cards
• samples
• sale items (except where faulty)

RETURN SHIPPING
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective, incorrect, or damaged upon arrival.

DIMINISHED VALUE
If products are handled beyond what is necessary to assess their characteristics or functioning, you may be liable for any diminished value. Where applicable, we will inform you of the assessment and corresponding deduction before finalising the refund.

NON-ACCEPTED RETURNS
If returned items do not comply with the conditions above (including but not limited to missing tags, signs of wear, washing, odours, damage, or alterations), we will notify you. Where permitted by law, you may request the goods to be returned to you at your expense. Otherwise, we may retain the goods in accordance with applicable legislation.

TAXES AND DUTIES
For returns shipped from within the European Union, refunds include taxes originally charged.
For returns from outside the European Union, duties and taxes paid to local authorities are generally non-refundable by the Vendor. Customers may be able to recover such charges directly from their local customs authority, subject to local regulations.

IDENTIFICATION TAG REQUIREMENT
All products include an identification tag and/or seal. Please try items carefully without removing these elements. Items returned without the original tag or seal may be refused or may be subject to a deduction reflecting diminished value, in accordance with applicable law.

REFUND PROCEDURE
After returned products are received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been accepted or if any deduction applies.

If accepted, refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days from the date we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods or evidence that they have been shipped back, whichever occurs first, as permitted by law.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method used at checkout (Shopify-supported payment method), unless otherwise required by applicable law. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

We process personal data in compliance with GDPR and applicable EU and Romanian legislation. We collect only information necessary to process orders, provide services, and communicate with customers. We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with trusted service providers strictly for operational purposes.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer your data and may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Invoices are issued electronically and sent via email after order confirmation. The sales contract is concluded in Bucharest, Romania, and is drafted in English.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time to reflect legal, operational, or commercial changes. The latest version will always be published on this page.
